Safe Zone for engineering. (Sat)

I am currently in 11th grade. I am taking the sat in december and about four times after that. I am seriously looking into computer engineering, and I am wondering what score I should shoot for on the sat that would put me in a comfortable position for admissions. P.S. I am looking into smaller schools, not large state schools.

for a small ce school 2100+ with 750+ on math section.

You should have really high on the math. 750+. Writing is never looked at, but CR is important (unfortunately).

I have a doubt, guys.
Do the colleges look only at the score or the percentile as well?
The October SAT that I took had a horrible curve and was scored very harshly. So, I was wondering if they look at the percentiles?
Because with a 720 in math my percentile was 95 :$

As far as I know, they look at the actual score more than the percentile.
