SAT II: Will be taking Math II, Physics, and French with Listening in the fall
AP: Just World History (4), will be taking more next year but only for exemption in college at that point
GPA: 4.8 (All classes at my school are at least honors (5), some are 5.5 and the rest are 6’s)
Extracurriculars/Awards: 9 years of piano (Some awards but mostly local), various chamber music groups in and outside of school, 6 years of trumpet (Marching band, Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band, Pit Orchestra, also involved in theater around school, Quiz Bowl team that is one of the top in the state, some minor local math awards that probably don’t mean much, member of several cultural clubs on campus, started a small Asian American heritage streetwear brand
Research: Internship at local university biostatistics lab over the summer, conducting humanities research in the fall in 20th century East Asian history
Intended major: Looking to double major in something quantitative/STEM like applied math/stats/compsci along with another major in something humanities/social science like econ/polisci/international relations
Preferred school size and location: Midsized to large and preferably in a city/college town. Open to some LACs provided they aren’t in the middle of nowhere. I want to be somewhere that I can get off campus and have lots of things to do. I would like to be no further south than NC.
