<p>How safe is the USC campus, being in a big city and all? My parents are kind of concerned, now that they know I’m seriously considering going there this coming fall.</p>

<p>It’s really not bad. If you’re going to the Row or anything like that at night, there’s Campus Cruiser, and there are blue emergency light-up thingies that immediately connect you to DPS and they’ll come within minutes. As long as you walk in groups and don’t do anything too dumb (walking around with a cellphone in hand and a Louis Vuitton bag slung over your shoulder isn’t smart anywhere), you should be fine even around Figueroa or Jefferson.</p>
