<p>Sources: Killer Of College Student Thought She Was Someone Else

MISSION HILL, Mass. – The person who killed a college student from Connecticut in her Boston apartment meant to shoot someone else, sources have told NBC 30.</p>

<p>The killer meant to shoot another girl who was living in the same building for drugs and money but mistakenly shot and killed Rebecca Payne, 22, of New Milford, sources said.</p>

<p>Payne was found dead in May in her apartment * just off the Northeastern University campus* in the Mission Hill section of Boston</p>

<p>A preliminary autopsy report confirmed that Payne suffered multiple gunshot wounds.
