I am curious to learn from those families that have SAGE credits and their impression on how they influenced the total amount of merit aid. As I understand it, SAGE credits, if accepted at the college or university, define a floor or minimum amount of merit aid for the first 4 years of undergraduate education. What I am interested to know is if you have SAGE credits–when do you disclose your SAGE credit amount in the application process and do you feel if that credit helped or reduced or had no bearing on the overall amount of merit aid received?
