Anyone familiar with both these schools. We applied from out of state and will be moving to the area later this year. How different are the schools in terms of academic rigor, opportunities for arts based ECs and leadership opportunities, social pressures, stress and anxiety levels? Given that Pres is all girls, is it known to be a supportive community or toxic like some all-girls environments can be due to unhealthy competition? We do like the fact that it is a smaller school.
Also wondering if one school is known to have better relationships with UCs and other well rated colleges for recruitment.
One last question- how do these schools compare to top public school districts in the bay area in term of rigor and competitiveness?
