Salaries

Hey

I’m a rising high school senior and interested in the dual degree programs at penn. however, i’m not sure if it’s worth since apparently wharton grads have higher salaries than grads who were enrolled in a dual degree program (like huntsman): http://www.vpul.upenn.edu/careerservices/wharton/surveys/Wharton2007Report.pdf</a>
(I’m referring to page 3)

enlightment? do employers usually prefer wharton kids of huntsman kids??? why would they do that?

I don’t think so. Given the nature of Huntsman, it is likely that some of the graduates from that program went to careers that do not pay as much as the typical Wharton career choice (investment banking), hence the difference. Do not base your decision to do a Dual Degree on this. If you graduate from Wharton with dual degree, you have all it takes to make as much as a regular Wharton student does.
