salary of people with doctorate in political science in the usa?
It all depends on what you do with it. The jobs that require doctorates can pay very different amounts. If you are a consultant at a DC think tank you are probably making good money. If you are an adjunct professor at a state college you are probably just getting by. There aren’t a lot of jobs for doctorates in political science so many are probably in careers that don’t really require the degree. I’d hazard a guess that you can find some baristas at Starbucks with doctorates.

And to add to me29034’s fine post… if you have strong statistical training and work for a polling company, you can make FANTASTIC money (choose your clients with deep pockets.) Work for an advocacy organization trying to increase voter registration among newly naturalized citizens? Not so much about the money as it is about the impact…

You can check the US Bureau of Labor & Statistics for their data on salaries.
Is there a reason you need this information? Do you reside in the US? If you don’t and are asking about a grad degree in Poli Sci, for future employment possibilities, this is not an occupation that is lacking in US candidates.
