Salman Khan

So I’m watching Charlie Rose the other nite and he has Salman Khan as a guest, the guy who developed [Khan Academy](http://www.khanacademy.org) . What a great web site!

I saw this too and can’t help thinking what a difference it would have made for me if this kind of help had been available when I was in school. What a great resource!

It really is fabulous isn’t it? I’ve been watching, and relearning some very cool math I had forgotten all about. He makes me feel brilliant because its soooo easy to follow him!

It’s an amazing website. My kids use it all the time to supplement math/science at school, review physics concepts for their EC. My middle son used it to review for the SATs. I try to remember to tell people about it because it is such a great resource!

Sal helped me get a degree in Statistics. Hadn’t looked at a math problem in over a decade and found his site. Took me about 6 months of using his site to relearn all of my math up to Calculus. I then continued to use his site through 3 levels of calc, and for other classes like Linear & Matrix Algebra and Physics. Really helped me a lot.

I need to write him a thank you letter.

I’d like to thank you guys for posting about this. My son has been using it for integrated algebra in 8th grade and my D has even been using it for college chemistry to refresh some things she doesn’t remember from high school. Truly, truly a blessing.
