<p>I’m just wondering if people usually stick with the same prof for both semesters of intro. sciences (particularly calc i&ii, bio i&ii, chem i&ii). What are the benefits and drawbacks? I think that sticking with the same prof for two semesters may be good idea because I’ll be familiar with test formats/styles, know what to expect in lecture, know the approx. difficulty of tests and how to study (and get a rec letter)?</p>
<p>I want to particularly focus on the last point (rec letter point). Is it too early to worry about rec letters if I’m in intro. classes? I’m not really not sure. Are rec letters usually received from upper level profs? What if the professor is fairly new? Would the rec letter not be as strong?</p>
