Thank you for the information. Are these local SD students involved with special programs like Compact for Success? Since I do not follow all social media and not all admits post their acceptances, I went by the date fellow CC posters started posting their admits.

Have your son or daughter share the video that appeared in their email – a fun surprise that brought a smile to my D24’s face. Well done SDSU!

Non local (Riverside County); no hooks, no special programs; my daughter might have a few friends though who have the hook of being first generation college students.

Just a reminder that students do not have to be admitted or invited to apply for the Weber’s Honors College. The early admits usually get an invite to apply for the Priority consideration and deadline is February 26, 2024 but if interested you can look over the information on this link. The invite should be coming within the next few days based on the historical timeline for SDSU.

does anyone know if certain majors won’t be a part of the early admits?

Nursing majors are not part of the Early admits. Decisions are always in March. Also any audition based majors have to wait until March decisions.

is computer engineering apart of the early admits?

Yes, I saw one admit on Reddit this morning.

if i have not gotten my admission yet, does this mean that I probably won’t be early accepted early?

Is everyone admitted receiving an email alerting to check the portal? We’re having issues accessing the portal but haven’t gotten an email - need to get password reset (which is more of a chore than you’d think), but assuming no rush if we didn’t get an email alert?

Last year, the early admit decisions trickled out over several weeks. In general, most applicants should not count on being admitted early so if not now, you will hear in March.

The portal updates first followed by an email.

okay thank you. I’ll try not to stress too much over it. I’m within top 10% of my class and some have gotten in before me which leaves me worrying.

Here was the Decision timeline for 2023 so Early admits are back on schedule for December vs. January although one poster noted some students heard in December but did not post their acceptance on CC.

Early admits starting January 24 and a few admits trickling out throughout February. Some auditions based majors heard on March 14. Rolling admission wave starting March 16 and 17th. Waitlists posted March 17. Denials posted Monday March 20, 2023.

If you scroll through last year’s discussion, you will still see plenty of high stat applicants hearing about their decision in March.
