I need some everyday sandals with arch support. I found a pair of Taos that I love and are keeping. They are a neutral pewter with some shimmer. At first I thought I’d wear these all the time, but I love them so much, they may not be my every day, knocking around town sandal. I’m going to save them for weekends, or going out with DH or friends… not the grocery store,
Anyway, I need a 2nd pair. I have another pair ordered in a dark pewter. I have this same sandal in black. I just don’t know if I want another pewter for everyday. It would be practical.
I’m typically in white shorts a lot, tons of tops for that. I was wondering if white sandals are totally out of style, or if I’m better off just getting another neutral?
Here is the white. It has a really pretty shimmer to it, you can’t see In the pic. Are white still out of fashion? Do these look too old lady? Honest opinions please. Like this group would give anything else…ha!
Does the woman in the photo look like an old lady? nope. Of course, if you pair these with something that is drab and dumpy and add a babushka in the mix, yeah, that would be old lady. Enjoy your new footwear.
I was just going to say the same thing @coralbrook . I wonder how the shoes run width wise - I have wide feet. But I really need a pair of comfy walking shoes for a trip I’m going on and they had some I like the look of (right thre on the first page of the link!)
@swimcatsmom I have 2 pairs of Taos sandals and I have wide feet, they fit me very well and have been very comfortable, have not ever tried on any of their shoes though. Also, I just looked at some of the sneakers and some come in wide widths.
Yes, I’ve kept to my ban as far as makeup, skin care, shampoo, etc. I’m using what I have! I find it much easier now to just walk away from that. Well, it was probably easier since I bought all those clothes and shoes…eek!
Just kidding. The sandals look like what folks in Europe would wear. I don’t mean the fashionistas of the former soviet bloc, those would be navigating cobblestones in 4" heels.
I love Vionics for my flat feet! They tend to follow fashion trends and don’t look so ‘old lady-like’. Zappos and DSW make trying on shoes at home so easy…Free returns!
