Santa Fe College FAQ

I have to do a 2 year college and a 2 year university and i live in Florida and right now i am trying to go to the feeder schools of UF or FSU but for the feeder school of UF, which is Santa Fe i was looking into it and read somewhere that i would have to major full time in biomedical and behavioral science-related disciplines to be part of there program to get into UF. I will be going into my senior year of high school in august and right now i am interested in international business and marketing so i’m trying to figure out if UF only accepts the people who major in biomedical and behavioral science-related disciplines during there 2 year in Santa Fe.

Thanks for your interest in Santa Fe College (SF). UF accepts transfer students from SF in all disciplines - not just the ones you listed in your post. If you are interested in International Business or Marketing, you would pursue an Associate of Arts degree at SF, with an appropriate Programs of Study (probably Marketing or general Business). Note that UF does not have an undergraduate degree in International Business – that is only a Master’s degree – though the BA in Business Administration may be paired with an “Area of Specialization” that includes several international options. You may want to become familiar yourself with the Transfer Admissions policies used by UF’s Heavener School of Business: http://warrington.ufl.edu/undergraduate/academics/admissions/transfer.asp

While enrolled at SF, you will multiple opportunities to meet with UF’s Business Transfer Advisors, who visit SF every semester to meet with SF students whom intend to transfer to UF.
