Santa Monica College vs Los Angeles City College

Hi there,
I’ve been researching and talking to the advisor of both schools but I still don’t know which would be better.
I already have a bachelor’s degree but want to go into early childhood education program to become a preschool teacher.
I was informed that since I already have my bachelor’s, I can simply take 12 credits of ECE classes then go into field work, which is basically internship.
I’ve heard that SMC has higher transfer rate to 4yr colleges but that doesn’t mean that they have a better ECE program.
After being certified, which school would help me to get a job faster? In other words, which school is more preferred, has a better reputation in ECE field?
I live exactly in the half way to both school so the distance doesn’t matter.
