Sarah Lawrence is currently my top choice, it’s definitely a reach for me though… I can’t seem to find other (safer) schools near NYC with a similar education plan. What other schools come to mind when I say that I’m looking for a less selective version of SLC?
Well, these might not fit your criteria of being near to NYC (though they are in the Northeast), but Bennington and Hampshire are slightly less selective than SLC and very similar in academic structure.
Yeah anything near a city/large town in the Northeast works, I’ll check those out.

Evergreen State college isn’t selective at all but it is in the northwest so fairly similar weather
