I read recently that for men’s business/formal dress, the belt should match the shoes - black belt, black shoes; brown belt, brown shoes.

novelisto-
so you write about your wolf-like dog and little red riding hood, and then talk about shopping with GRANDMA! Did grandma bring cookies and did you shop for a cape?? :D

None of those fine stores on this side of my fine state!

I guess a city of 200,000 is considered too small!

jym626 – My Grandma would have scared the fur of any wolf, two-legs, four-legs or werewolf.

^^ Hahaha novelisto! Scary grannys unite!

My H’s “Oma” – his grandmother in Germany —was a dead-ringer for the evil witch in Snow White. Way, way scary granny. I met her when we visited (while on our honeymoon in Germany). She scared the crap out of me. (But then I met the fun German uncles and we all got a bit “tipsey” as Oma said—her English was quite limited, but she had “you must EAT” down pat. Back to topic…for someone who’s not going to wear them very well, I’d also go for the cheaper versions…but it when they are going to get heavy use, you do get what you pay for. But $90 was still a big, big splurge for a belt, back in the day when hubby was a card-carrying member of the rat race.
