<p>Sorry, but if I were you I wouldn’t. I also took it 3 times, and understand it sucks when its not going up but to me its just time to move on. Just apply to schools and do your best with the score you have.</p>
<p>If you’re really unhappy with your scores, look at the test-optional schools. The list is long and growing and includes some competitive schools.</p>
<p>I don’t know which colleges and universities you’re thinking of as “more competitive,” but I do think you’ve reached the point of diminishing returns. An 1870 is somewhat better than an 1800, but I don’t think a 1950 or a 2000 is going to make an appreciable difference for you when paired with a 3.0 GPA.</p>
<p>An 1880 is plenty good for a lot of colleges and universities. I can’t think of very many colleges where having “only” an 1880 would be a problem, but having “only” a 3.0 wouldn’t be.</p>
<p>If I’m wrong about that, I’ll happily stand corrected.</p>
