<p>I took the SAT 2 French Reading as a Freshman. I was in French 2 honors I received a 710 when I checked my score today (not native). French is my intended minor is a 710 acceptable/good for schools in the top 50 nationally?</p>
<p>What grade are you in now? A 710 is a good score for top schools, I’m not sure if the fact that you want to minor in French means they will be looking for a higher score; I would imagine good grades in high-level French courses would be sufficient though. Why did you choose to take the test after French II though? Usually it is recommended you take the test after Junior year or after the third level of your language. </p>
<p>@butterfreesnd I’m a uprising senior in french 5 AP. I loved french and knew I would kill the test. Do you think I should retake it for an 800 or keep my 710?</p>
<p>I don’t normally advise retaking subject tests after a certain score, but you could easily bring that score up with minimal additional work. Go for it.</p>
