Sat 2 Literature V. Writing

I have to take one or the other for Bryn Mawr, which in your opinion is easier?
Michele

Just from what I’ve heard, the writing is much, much easier. The literature is “impossible”.

Absolutely Writing - by a landslide.

Writing’s much easier.

even though I wouldn’t know, i’ve heard lit. is very hard

I would know and I’ll verify that Lit is very hard.

Mm. I took both and got an 800 Writing and a 780 Lit. However, the percentile for lit was an 98%+ I think while the percentile for writing was a 97%. Why don’t you just take both on the same test day and see how you do?

Literature is awful, don’t take it.

took lit absolutely cold w/o any studying and got a 640…if you study, are good at analyzing passages, and enjoy literature; i don’t see how anyone could do that badly…i think it’s more straightforward than writing

If you’re a half-decent writer and can identify basic grammar mistakes writing is MUCH easier.

writing is sooooo much easier than lit.

WRITING! 710 Writing, and not so great lit  just my own personal experience

Writing is much much easier. I think it suffices to say that I did about 150 points better on writing than I did on Lit.

I truly believe that Writing is significantly easier. However, a better way to decide for yourself would be to take a practice test for each.
