Hey, I’m entering senior year in fall and I’ll be doing my SAT subject tests in November
Well I am interested in interior design, and architecture. The exact thing is interior architecture. Well universities which don’t have interior architecture, say that I can do interior design with courses in architecture. Well, I’m more of a design oriented person =)

The question is about my SAT 2s, I’m going to do french and math level 2 for sure. But then I don’t know which 3rd one I should do, my choice is between physics or biology m

I believe that I should do one math, one science, and one language, so it would be great if someone tells me if physics or biology is better.

One more thing, how hard is SAT 2 physics? As I didn’t do physics at school, just did a very little bit of it and I will have to do all of it, so is it extremely hard to cover by yourself?

I wouldn’t say physics is extremely hard to cover by yourself. Its do-able but challenging. If you are up to the challenge, go for it. Just make sure you learn the material covered on the test thoroughly because otherwise, you will get ****ed by the test. But if you cover the material, go for it and take the Physics test. It has the nicest curve of all subject tests. If you don’t know physics, do bio. Bio would also probably be easier to study for but it has a lower curve.

It depends on which you are more interested in. Biology is said to be easier than Physics but you might hate bio. So I suggest you go through some concepts from each that are on the test, and see which one you like better/ have an easier time understanding. Good luck!

My own personal bias says that you should take physics. The subject test in biology primarily measures one’s ability to memorize a lot of facts and processes and doesn’t involve much analytical thought.

If you have no background in either subject, I think physics would look better if you will indicate that you are an aspiring architect/designer. It might not be totally pertinent, but moreso than biology.

Thanks everyone
Well I’ve been doing biology for the past 3 years, and it is my favourite subject & I also plan to do AP biology in May 2010
But then I was thinking which one would be more suitable for the career I want to pursue (interior architecture)
If I would biology I would do biology M, not E as E doesn’t interest me much
Well I’ll look at sample questions of each, and them make a choice
