SAT 2008-2009 Practice Test (from prep booklet)

Hi,

I took this test today as I’ve been preparing for the SAT, which I will be taking tomorrow.I took this test, and to my suprise I scored 2180 (these tests don’t have score ranges because they’re real past papers and so they can use the curves).

Did people find this test to be easier than usual? I would be chuffed to score 2180 because I’ve been getting around 2040 using the Blue Book (using the middle score in the score ranges). I got 790M, 680CR and 710W. I tend to score well in math and writing, but usually get high 500s/low 600s for CR. I found that this paper had interesting passages that I really enjoyed. Is it the fact that I enjoyed the passages that I scored higher? Does this usually happen?

I really hope that I ‘click’ with the paper tomorrow.

Well this is certainly the case for me. My goal tomorrow is to try and find something interesting about every passage that I read, and not be asleep by the end of it. If I’m alert and interested, I do so much better.

^ Yeah same. Good luck with the test tomorrow!
