<p>I’m currently a freshman, and I’d be a senior by school year 2016-2017. Would it look bad if I take the test by the end of 2015 (during my Junior Year, before the test change) so I’d not be that busy prepping for the new change? I am quite comfortable with the format now…</p>

<p>There is nothing strange-looking about a student who only takes the SAT as a junior and never as a senior. Lots of students do well enough to be done in their junior year. With luck, you will be among them and there will be nothing about that to worry about!</p>
<p>About one-third of the 2013 senior class (about 500,000 people) took their last SATs as juniors.</p>
