SAT 2's

how are these weighted on the application.

I am a prospective International Health major at he School of NHS, would not doing well on the Math 1 test screw me? ( I got a 600, though I did get a 670 in bio)

I will be an International Health major this fall and I received either a 600 or a 630 (I don’t remember which) on the Math IC also. Funny thing is that the first time I took it, the end of soph year after Algebra w/Trig, I recieved a 600. Two years later as a senior in Calculus trying to improve my score, I received another 600 lol. Yet, I did very well in Pre-Calc and moderately well this year in Calculus. In short, scores aren’t everything. For some people, SAT I (II) scores don’t show people’s true abilities :)

wow, that was exactly the type of reply i needed. Thank you.

for some reason, I just cant do SAT math. I got president of Math honor society, and I and one of the leaders of my schools senior math team, and I did well in precalc, but these tests purposefully try to trick me.

Good luck at NHS man, hopefully I and hopeful07 will be joining you soon.

I got a Math1 score of 700 after a lot of study and prep… and yeah it really ****ed me off how they actually try to trick you!

how many sat II’s are needed to apply to georgetown? it says on thier website that three are mandatory but when i was at a college info session i could’ve sworn the rep from georgetown said that only two were required.

yes, I saw this too.

Could it be old or somthing?

Shi"*, we need to have 3 Sat 2’s, since they dont even consider the writing SAT 1 part…

no one considers the Sat1 writing section as a subject test.
