<p>Generally speaking, does a school’s average ACT score roughly equal it’s average SAT score? In other words, if a school posts a 1200 average SAT but doesn’t post its ACT score (but says it accepts both), could you look up on the chart the corresponding ACT score to that SAT score and determine what the average ACT score at that school would be?</p>
<p>Schools often try to level both groups (sat and act) but often times its a bit skewed since there will be less people taking the act so the average may vary more.</p>
