Does the ticket need to be in color? And what are the chances that I can take the SAT as a walk in tester?

I don’t think they care too much about whether the ticket was printed in color. Be sure to bring a photo ID (passport, drivers license, school ID).

Sorry I don’t know the phrase very well; what’s a “walk-in tester?” Is it someone who just goes right in and takes the test without registering? In that case, it’s impossible; you need a registration ticket beforehand.

Ticket color doesn’t matter. Bring a photo ID. Stand-by testing varies depending on whether they have a few people not show up and if they might have one or two extra seats, then you would be eligible to take their spot. But you would need to get there extra early in case they do have an extra opening before someone else gets it. Also make sure you have money to pay the fine.
