SAT: 800M, 790 CR, 730 W (11 on essay) (2320 total)
SAT II’s: 790 Math ii, 760 US History, 710 Math i
i know my sat scores are pretty high, but here’s the catch: i’m asian.

AP scores: errm, not too hot. mostly 5’s, but i got a 3 on english (dyslexic).

score-wise, am i up to par? i know sat scores are important, but what about ap scores? what do you guys think??

Are you up to par? You’re in the upper 90% percentiles in your SATs I’m sure. Congratulations! Your AP work is to be commended too!

It’s obvious you should have a great academic performance in whatever college you decide to attend.

Now… if you’re asking how that lines you up with the ultra-selectives — your sheer metrics make you viable for sure – now it’s up to the many intangibles. And that, no one can guess for you.

Best of luck and congratulations so far. Bravo!

shucks, t26e4 : )
i’m glad i’m up to par. now i just sound kind of…i don’t know, “look-at-my-good-scores” ? still, you never know now…after seeing all the stats from ED yalies, i didn’t really catch a pattern.

can you specify what the “intangibles” are? do you mean the essays, recs, extracirriculars?
