SAT and High School Senior Classes

I am a junior this year and I was first wondering when I should take my first SAT? There is one coming up this March. And also, are SAT prep classes beneficial? They offer a two week after school program at my school that I could sign up for that is only $67.

Secondly, as a senior what classes should I be taking if I would like to be going into elementary education in college? I am already taking AP English and Composition, and AP Psychology. By the end of this year I will already have all my necessary credits for graduation fulfilled, except for a fourth year English, so I do have the option to take whatever classes interest me, or could help me with my major.

Lastly, for a science next year, would AP environmental be a good class to take?

Thank you so much for your help!
You do not have to answer all the question, any help is fine!

I took my SAT in May of junior year because that’s the only time my school offered it. I think you should take it in March if you feel you’re ready and can do your best. If not, wait a few months. Don’t waste the money if you’re not ready.

For your schedule, I think it would be beneficial to take all of your core classes even though your requirements are fulfilled. You don’t necessarily have to take AP everything but it looks good if you continue to take the core classes.
