SAT Bio vs SAT Chem vs SAT Physics

Which science subject test is the easiest to conquer to 2 - 3 months?
I have taken Bio freshman year, Chem sophomore year, and Physics junior year and have done well in all three.
I took SAT Chem at the end of my sophomore year (650)
I’m looking to get above 720 (preferably 750+) on any one of these three.
Taking AP Physics next year as well.

Any suggestions on which one would be the best to study for the October test date? (Going to take Math IIc and US History along with this science test)

Thanks!

I think it depends on what are you gonna choose in major at university…

I want to major in business. I’m looking at Carnegie Mellon (strong match) and they require two subject tests
I also want to look competitive for the other schools I’ll be applying to (BC, Northwestern, NYU, etc.)

bump bump!

I have no idea what you mean by “conquering” a test, unless you’re implying some sort of metaphor.
Anyways, I would suggest Chemistry over Physics or Bio.
It’s the easiest one to do well on, and it has the most people getting 800s out of all three tests.
It only requires a first year Chemistry course, with some prep, and you should be set to get at least a 750+.

Thanks for your help! Chem does sound like the better choice over the other two subject tests.

hi-i want to apply for pre-med and am going to take SAT II this november. I’ve just started my A2 exams (edexcel, british curriculum)-so that’s basically grade 12. i’m a bit confused on which subjects to choose-i like math 2, but amidst chem, bio and phys-which 2 do you think are the best ideas-for a pre-med applicant? i haven’t done much math in my A levels, since i have only c12, c34, s1 and m1 as my math units in A levels-but i think math 2 is the better of the math subjects. Ideas please? I need help-IT’S URGENT!

Since you’ve already taken the Chemistry SAT, you should probably take the physics one, as you’ve just finished the course in junior year. The same amount of people get 800s on the Physics SAT as the Chem one, and both are easy to self study.

IIma321: Definitely take Math2, and any of the three science SAT 2s would be acceptable for someone who wants to go into medicine

cheese123211: I think I’ll try some chem practice tests and see how much I need to improve, and if it’s way too far from my goal score (750+), then I’ll consider physics, thanks for your input!!

If you decide to take the SAT Chemistry test, the key to a high score is taking lots of practice tests. There is a website that has over 500 questions to help students study for the SAT Chem test.
