SAT Breakdown Question

<p>So, let’s say two people have the same SAT composite, but one has similar grades in all sections and the other is higher in one or two and lower in the others. If the second person’s interests match their scores, are they better off then the first.</p>

<p>Specifically, here’s me:
SAT-2190
Math-800
CR-670
Writing-720</p>

<p>SAT II
Math II-800
Chem-800
Lit-700</p>

<p>I’m going to put math and science as probable majors. Do you think the adcom is going to recognize that these are my strong-suit and ignore my less-than-perfect english scores??</p>

<p>Hmmm, you sound like me, I put that I was going to be a math major because I figured that my slightly above average cr and w scores will be looked at less, though I did think that in reality the fact that I was so strong in math and sciences that they sort of forgot about everything else, so I guss it could definitely help, though I’ll never know how anything went down.</p>
