So there are new changes coming to the SAT in Spring 2016, however that is when I am taking the test. I have been studying for the test for the past year using books focused on the current SAT. How much is this going to affect me? There aren’t many test prep books designed for the new test yet so how will I be able to study efficiently? I feel like a guinea pig- and this is going to affect college admissions if I do poorly!!!

This will be the book that you will need to study. It comes out on June 30. You will have plenty of time. Best of luck!
It’s at least 80% the same skills, honestly. If you’ve gotten reasonably good at the current exam, those skills should transfer to the new one pretty well. There are a few new principles, and of course relative values of different skills vary, but it’s not the sea change some have said it is.
