SAT circling in the answer

Hi,
Can you guys tell me if circling in like this is fine…? Or do they need to be fuller…? Also will stray pencil marks a bit outside of the correct bubble ( but no on the other bubbles) cause any problems…?

Thanks.

They need to be fuller, just cover the whole circle, and try to avoid going outside, but if you do and as long as it is not significantly outside or hitting any other circles it is not the end of the world

Okay…thanks…!

They are completely fine as they are. The whole “full bubble or something bad will happen” nonsense is to warn kids who bubble abnormally badly. I bubbled like you do since it’s much faster cumulatively than filling in the whole thing (it’s practically filled!) and still got a full score.

Thanks…! :slight_smile: Circling them fuller does eat up more time and risks stray marks outside…! Would be great if others too can take a look and comment based on their experiences. Would put me more at ease. And what about marking near the question numbers in the answer sheet? Will that be a problem?

@Gautam17‌ Sort of off topic, but have you taken the SAT in any of the test centers in India? If so how was the experience like regarding Loo breaks, Strictness, Noise levels, space provided etc.

Try not to make any stray marks, and I haven’t taken an SAT’s in India, sorry.

that is fine.

@Phongtheha‌ Okay…! Thanks…! :)

Also pro advice, imo. IDK might be common sense :P. Have 2+ pencils ready. Use 1 for the registration info and stuff and let it get dull or have it already be dull. Use that pencil to bubble in. Do your work/scratch work with a newer pencil. Dull pencils bubble in faster/better than sharper ones

@hagzzz‌ hehe…I was planning to take 30-40 pencils ( Proctors will probably think I am crazy :stuck_out_tongue: ). I’ve personally felt it a bit easier and controlled(as in no stray marks) with a sharp pencil, though I guess I will try and give your method a run in the few practice runs I have left. For the essay though, I believe a sharp pencil is definitely better.
