SAT Cold run, or wait and study?

I have a couple of options, and I’m not sure which one I should take.
I’ll be taking the AP Calc AB, US and Literature tests in May this month.

However, I have not yet taken an SAT or ACT test yet. I’m registered for the June ACT test.

Should I

take the SAT in May, without studying much (cramming for AP exams), and then study on what I didn’t do well on for the June and October tests?

take SAT subject tests in May on what I am in AP for, and then SATs in June and October

take SAT in June and October

something else?

I am a junior this year.
I’d love your advice!

Thanks!

I would take the subject tests for what you are studying concurrently in June. However, be aware that Math II is more precalc, so you’ll have to brush up on that briefly. Then, study for the SAT over the summer, take in October, then retake in December. If you don’t do well on the subject tests, then retake those in November.

As for the ACT, I’m not sure how advisable it’d be to take it if you don’t have the chance to study for it (since you’ll be busy w/ AP). Maybe you could study for that over the summer and take the ACT in September, but then you’d be testing for four months straight, which would stink.
