hi i have taken the SAT previously in January 26.2013. i will take it again in May 4.2013 . my vocab is pretty bad and i am hoping it will get a little bit better than of my last exam. i am currently studying the suffixes, prefixes, and roots of words. Is this enough to get a high score or at least an average score in critical reading?

Ahlan! P.M me! I can help ;)

^ hey egyptians XD…
start with prefixes and suffixes… they will sure help, but concentrate more on PRACTICE… practice with the passages; they are the most important. and when you find a word you’re stuck in in the psg, just look it and memorize it. will help you in both…

of course, i got a 620 in the CR… not exactly the “good” score over here… XD but I’m international too so… XP

Also, it would help to know what YOU view as good enough for you. What was your original score?
Hope that helps XD

i have got a 390 unluckily on the critical reading also 390 on the writing section

Well then try my way for now… might be very tedious and hard in the beginning, but you’ll eventually ace it if God may…

Hope that helps then!
