Is it possible to get a perfect score with a few wrong because of the curve? — See… simple question.

math - usually never
writing - if perfect MC, lowest 9 essay = still 800; if -1 MC, 11 essay = 800
crit rdg - usually -2 = 800

Hopefully CR is extremely lenient. Math will be harsh. Writing was remarkably easy so I am thinking ti should be a standard curve.

I understand that there were TWO different versions of the test today. do you guys think that both will be scored according to the same curve?

^ idk…there were more than 2 diff versions.

Math… 90% of the time -0 is 800, very rarely -1 is 800
CR… 2 wrong is usually still 800, but not always
Writing… 48/49 MC and 9 Essay curved to 800 in May 2006. But 48/49 also curved to a score of 80 for MC.

wht do u guys think 3 wrong (1 wrong on fill ins) so -3 in math will be
740 at least ? :/

wouldnt getting three wrong be a -4 since i’m assuming you bubbled in two answers incorrectly and answered a grid in incorrectly? In that case, it’d be around a 700, more or less.

haha Math = at least 3/17 (so the chances arent that bad :P) with -1 being 800 (maybe more since i dont know all the curves)
CR = at least 8/17 -2 being 800

-3 is around a 720

Depending on the test form, it is possible to get a peak standard score (800) on any section of the SAT without acing the item content.
