SAT date changed but name still called In SAT site

I was scheduled to take the Octobee SAT, but I started to feel really sick on Friday (the day before), so we called collegeboard and asked them to change the test date to the March one. On the collegeboard website, it said my next test would be in March. However on test day, my friend who did take the SAT that day told me they called my name, and when he told them that I canceled it the day before, they said it was impossible. They said you have to cancel at least two weeks before the test. My question is after all this mess, is my score or anything about the October test going to show up on the website? Is it going to show nothing? Does this affect my college admissions at all?

No worries. You said you can clearly see the date has already been changed in your College Board account from Oct. to Mar., right? Then that is all that matters. Your registration for Oct. is a nullity; nothing about Oct. will ever be reported to colleges.

Whatever a mis-informed proctor or student said on Sat. is irrelevant.

I don’t think it should show anything; they would have no way of getting a score from you since you didn’t bubble or fill out the answer sheet with your info/answers.

Thank you, both of you, for your help. That greatyly lowered my stress level.

They only called your name because it was on the roster that was snail mailed to the school. And that person was wrong about the two week thing. Don’t worry.
