SAT Dilemma

I received a 1430 on the SAT and a 31 on the ACT. From experience, which test do you guys think is easier to improve on? I’ve improved a lot with SAT math practice but for the English, I’ve seemed to hit a plateau. Any tips for improvement on the CR/W sections? Also, I’ve heard that it is easier to improve on the ACT. I’d rather stick with the SAT, but if this rumor is true, I’m not sure what to do! Thanks.

According to the latest concordance tables, the 1430 is a solid 32 ACT so you are already a bit ahead with SAT. Check out the tables and figure out what your subscores concord to.

What are you using for SAT prep?

@JBStillFlying Self-studying. Trying to find a tutor, but not sure how helpful that would be. I have the PWN book for SAT math which seems really useful; I’m almost done reading it. For English, I’ve been using khan academy practice and I might purchase the Erica Meltzer book as I’ve heard some great reviews on it. The English seems a bit trickier to improve on though

What are you section scores on the SAT and the ACT?

@JBStillFlying SAT–730 Math, 700 English, ACT–36 English, 32 Reading, 29 Math, 28 Science. I went into the ACT cold and didn’t realize that timing would be such an issue.
