SAT essay & critial reading

Okay so I’m doing that get a 12 in 10 days on the SAT essay but I don’t know what examples to research and which essay topics to cover and write about. Can suggest me a couple of good examples and topics for the SAT essay.

I got a really low score on my critical reading. (1340 over all) I want to bring up my critical reading grade. Is there anyway I can bring it up fast with lots of practice? I’m taking the SAT again in May.

for essay examples, try to think of solid literary examples like Great Gatsby. Also try to use historical and scientific examples: FDR, MLK, Louis Pasteur, Darwin

for the CR, use blue book, study word etymology, and

How about using books you read in English/Literature classes? You can also use some historical events from your history class. I’ve used Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein, Catcher in the Rye, Animal Farm, ect. On the last SAT in Dec 2011, I talked about the Appalachian Mountain Whites during the Civil War, which I learned from APUSH.

I too, want to bring up my CR grade :stuck_out_tongue: I’m taking the test Saturday though so there’s not really a lot more I can do except to just keep practicing and practicing until you become familiar with the questions.
