Princeton requires the new SAT with essay, but does anybody know how important the essay score is, i.e. what is considered a good score (out of 24)? The admissions statistics only list the Math and EBRW scores, but nothing about the essay.
It’s not a very important factor in admissions from what I have found (I have done loads of research on this question). But a good score (20-24) can definitely help you.
It is not an important factor if you show proficiency in English classes, English standardized test exams, and if your essays are good
I’m pretty sure that as long as you get at least a 6 in each category (total 18), you’re fine.
