<p>Assignment: What are your thoughts on the idea that television has turned out to isolate people instead of bringing them together?</p>

<p>Can someone help me with two STRONG reasons and examples for each side (agree & disagree)??</p>

<p>REASON: TV can bring people together.</p>

<p>You might rephrase them, but these seem to be the most logical starting points.</p>

<p>TV can unify people

  • When new year’s coming, I can watch people from other countries celebrating their New Year’s Eve, displaying fireworks… only via Television.
  • When disastrous earthquake and tsunami occured in Japan on 11 March 2011, causing about 15000 people killed. everyone from any other countries could update the news through TV, so that they could call on each other’s compassion and share the difficulties with Japan by donating and praying for this country.</p>
