Do you guys have any tips for preparing for the SAT essay?
I started doing a few practice ones, but do you guys have any other suggestions? Are the questions usually on similar topics? I’ve noticed that many of them seem to be about morals or changes.

It’s rather short notice because I’m taking it on March 3rd (yes, on Monday–long story). Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Ooh, I’d love to hear the long story. :)

Check the the thread about 11 or 12 essays. Mainly just practice essays, to get the feel for it. It also helps if you have a couple different events from history or literature that you know a bit about. I’m a big fan of the Civil Rights movement- you can tie it into anything.
Oh, and make sure you have well thought out ideas. Don’t be shallow. :)
