SAT Goal: 2100. Possible?

Hello.

I scored in the 90th percentile for math, 95th percentile in reading, and 75th percentile in writing on my PSAT. My HS says this translates to around a 1600 on the SAT. It seems a little lower than I expected, but that is besides the point.

So my goal for the SAT is 2100. To have a really good chance at getting into the colleges I want to get into, I figured I need to score around this. So my question is, based on the scores I have now and the time I have until I have to take the SAT’s (I graduate with the class of 2016), is 2100 a reasonable goal? Should I concentrate mostly on bringing up the writing section? Or should I try to improve equally in each of the sections? How much studying will I have to do in order to bring my scores up to where I want them?

Thanks a ton.
