SAT, Good enough or should I retake?

Should I retake for my schools (all of them) or should I retake for certain ones?

I would definitely retake if you are serious about Penn and NYU. Wharton and Stern are SO competitive.

That is about 34 on the ACT, so it’s a great score. You don’t need to retake, but I see no harm. What did you get on the essay?

If you can significantly improve your EBRW score, I would retake. The rule of thumb is 750+ on each section. Students always look at their total score instead of individual scores. I would say a student who scored a 750EBRW + 750 Math wouldn’t benefit much from retaking the test, while I would say a student who scored a 700EBRW + 800 Math would benefit from retaking the test, even though they are both 1500’s.
