SAT How much can you raise your score by?

<p>Hi, I’m going to be a senior next year and that means college applications. Unfortunately, I’m taking my next SAT 1 in October and I really need to do well on it. Just out of curiosity, if I were to work REALLY hard and diligently, would it be possible to raise my SAT score by more than 400 points? If not, how much can you raise your score by?</p>

<p>It depends entirely on the person and his circumstances. Some factors:</p>

<ul>
<li>Had you completed the classes (maths up through Alg2 and English up through grade 11) when you took the test previsouly?</li>
<li>How have you been prepping, and how does it compare to your prepping before previous dates? </li>
<li>What were your original scores?</li>
<li>Do you understand what you need to work on, specifically?</li>
</ul>

<p>If you can give us some of that info, we’ll more in more of a position to tell you.</p>

<p>Like the person above said depends on you…You could raise your scores very high if you are able to pinpoint where u make mistakes and such…Anything is possible…</p>

<p>You can raise it as high as it can go. It’s just getting that improvement that takes work.</p>

<p>hey wuts upp do u think i can raise me scoore atleast 600 points?? because i took the sat for the first time and i got a 1150 and i didnt noe *** i was doing and i pay 1 grand for sat clases at a kaplan center to raise my score do u think itll help im willing to put in all the time and effort i even quit my schools fotball team soo i can get a good score and prepare for the sat’s/psats cause i took the sat at the center ive never taken the psat?? is the psat harder than the sat??? plzz answer me asap </p>

<p>1150 out of 1600 or out of 2400? Hopefully it was out of 1600 and you got a 1800 total.</p>

<p>I would assume out of 2400 as his name is 1800 and his score, about 1200, plus 600 points would be 1800. </p>

<p>An increase of 600 is a lot. But but 600 points from 1200 to 1800 is much easier than 1800 to 2400. I would just say be ready for a lot of work.</p>

<p>My psat was a 1690, and I studied my ass off before the SAT and I got a 2090. Anything is possible is you’re diligent.</p>
