SAT I Math or Verbal Harder?

Which is harder for getting an 800? (not just based on the curve; which do fewer get an 800 on?)

it mostly is what you’re good at. I could never get an 800 math. Sure a higher number get 800s on one of them ( I think verbal I don’t reallly know though), but if you’re a math person, verbal is not going to be a heck of a lot of fun to get an 800 on

either are easy to get an 800 on. i can’t get 800 on either because there is always a few things that trip me up on either.

Even thought I’m so much better at math in school and math contests than I am at any essay contest etc, I think that verbal is easier to get an 800 on than the math section because of dumb mistakes.
Remember, never change ur math answers at the last minute, that cost me the 800 math :(

They are both the same level if you want to get an 800, but if your strengths are on one side it will be easier to get an 800 on that side.
For instance, I could probably get an 800 soon on Math, but Verbal is a longshot.

The verbal section is probably “generally” harder than the math. But, the score curves balance it out.

Verbal, in terms of getting an 800, is harder than math.

6,869 people in Class of 04 got an 800 verbal while 9,917 got an 800 math.

Keep in mind that this is a very slight difference when you consider that it is only a discrepancy of about 3,000 people in a pool of 1,419,007 test takers.

interesting
