Will good SAT II scores outweigh a bad SAT score or vice versa for admissions decision? To those accepted, were you in this position? Hope you guys can help me out.

i sure hope SAT II’s count more!

my scores: SAT I (740M, 700V)
SAT II (US History - 800, Math2c - 800, Physics - 780)

i got deferred.

I was at Discover Stanford this summer; the admissions person said specifically that if you have so-so SAT I scores, for example, then your SAT II (provided they are higher) will act to compensate.

My situation was 700v, 770m on SATI, three 800s on SATIIs and one 770. I was admitted.
