Sat i

I have a question…I registered for the SAT I for the 4th time. But I’m not sure if I would get a substantial increase in the score…

Would taking it for the 4th time effect my chances at getting in school?

Taking it a second time often increases your score by a good amount.

Taking it a third time sometimes increases your score by a small amount.

Taking it a FOURTH time very rarely increases your score by an insignificant amount.

i’ve applied to the Columbia as early decision and University of Chicago early action. My SAT score is borderline for Columbia but i’m hoping that they bend a little because i’m an early decision applicant and my GPA is a little over their median. i’m also involved in a lot of music activities and i’m an officer in several clubs. I don’t know if this will make a difference but i come from a low-income family and a middleastern background. i cant wait for an admissions decisions but i also think its foolish to get my hopes up. Any thoughts?
