<p>My daughter has taken the SAT sub tests (chem, math 2, US history) last saturday. She said she did not do well on Chemistry as she expected, but did very good on other two sub tests. I know we can’t cancel just chemistry (wish we could do that).
Is retaking a subject test looks bad on application? Pl respond…</p>
<p>I recommend a retake. I doubt sitting in for another three hours in June (or another test day) is in any way eventful.</p>
<p>In my opinion, it is always better to retake. It shows persistence. </p>
<p>When you cancel your score, you will not know your performance level. Perhaps after she has seen the exam, she will know what areas to reinforce.</p>
