SAT II for Top Schools (International, ORM)

Hello!

I have 800s on Math II and Chemistry, but am a prospective engineering major at top schools (Stanford, MIT, Caltech, Cornell, Duke, Columbia, etc…). I am also an ORM (Indian) studying abroad. Would you recommend I take the Physics test (hopefully I can score an 800, but it would be a reasonable amount of work to study for it)?

This is because physics aligns more closely with mechanical/electrical engineering – but does it really matter if I take the test?

Thanks!

No. You have great scores. Put your effort into EC’s and your essays.

Most top colleges recommend/require math and either bio/chem/physics (or chem/physics) for engineering. Taking more than the minimum will not improve your application.
