SAT II for university of michigan

Hey guys, im a new member and this is my first post…

I have tried to do some research on wether the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor) requires the SAT 2 for mechanical engineering for International students or not…
i still havent been able to find out exactly if it does require international students to give the SAT2 or not? for the mechanical engineering program?
so if anyone who knows… or has already attended UofM could probably tell me?

Secondly, I also wanted to know wether the social life scene at Georgia tech is REALLY that bad? i mean, for what i have read on the internet regarding georgia tech is like, mostly are like “social life at georgia tech doesnt even exist”. Are there really NO/REALLY BORING parties on weekends… etc? the girls may be fewer in number… but are they really that bad?

Michigan does not require any SAT IIs for admission. However, the engineering college will consider them if submitted and thus sending a good math and science score can help but is not required.

Yeah, GA Tech has a boring social life when compared to Michigan. Also think above poster accurately described SAT II’s for UMich.

im asking generally wether the social life at GA tech is bad to an extent that one wants to leave or get transferred…not in comparison to michigan…? as in i come from a third world country (pakistan btw)… for me the social scene might be very good as there is hardly much to do here in pakistan… so i was i was trying see wether it would turn out to be good enough for me or not… but obviously for the US standards it must be bad…

thanks anyways… for the info…
