SAT II Physics - New/Random Questions?

Hi all,

I’ll be taking my SAT II Physics subject test this Saturday, and I’ve been practicing with my Princeton Review book, for which I am doing OK (800) on the practice tests. Unfortunately, there are only 2 of them, and when I tried some other books (Barrons, McGraw Hill), the difficulty suddenly went up and I began scoring much lower. Most of the mistakes I made are questions about - Who invented the reflecting telescope/Who spotted craters on the moon in 1610/What is the function of graphite in nuclear reactors, and these simply aren’t things that come up in the PR book. Can I ask if the real subject test will be similar? Or will the content in the PR book get me an 800?

Thanks in advance!

Princeton Review tends to be a bit easier than the real tests, but a solid understanding of physics (i.e. not memorization of random facts) should get you a very high score. Best of luck!

Alright, thanks for the tips! (:

PR is fairly similar to the real test. If you truly master the content in PR, you should get 800.
